Your personal driver and guide will meet you direct at your Hotel or accomodation in Central London, then head out into the Cambridgeshire countryside about 1.5 hours from London.

We will arrive around 10am to make sure you have ample time to explore this historic airfield, home to an incredible amount of classic and modern aircraft. You will be able to view an original Spitfire that was on active duty during the Dunkirk evacuation, and get deep into the history and experiences of the men and women who made Duxford a key Battle of Britain airfield.

Explore how Britain’s air defences developed from the First World War through to the Cold War, and discover how the RAF defended its skies during key battles in the Second World War. In AirSpace you can get up-close to some of the most famous aircraft in the world, including the Lancaster, Spitfire, Concorde and Vulcan. Explore around and underneath the aircraft.
Meet the skilled engineers who make these remarkable aircraft fly again and chat to them about their work.

The Operations Room was the nerve centre of Duxford’s Battle of Britain. From here the men and women who worked on the ground at Duxford directed the station’s pilots into combat. Get to know Duxford’s people, try on a replica uniform, fill a pilot’s brain with flying knowledge, and explore the sights, sounds and smells of Duxford.

You can even book flights in vintage aircraft including Spitfires!  (Pre-booking essential)

This tour also includes the option to stop in a traditional Thatched Pub dating back to the 1600's for a drink or lunch, giving you the chance to experience some of the surrounding countryside on the way back to London.

A non rushed and bespoke tour with your own personal driver and guide.
